Writing a Compare/Contrast Composition
After reading the story, “Knowledge is Power,” (found in your Groundwork for College Reading eBook pages 432 – 439) think about how the author, Anna-Maria Petricic, writes that when she went to high school, students told horror stories about college. When you were in high school, what was your view of college? Has your view of college changed since then? Here are the requirements of this assignment: Requirements: Every thing has been explained in Question detail and I also add 4 attachments. Compare and contrast what you thought about college while still in high school versus what you think about it now. Write a topic sentence that states the main point of your composition without including details. In the body of your paper, give specific details and examples of how your views are alike and how they are different. You may want to refer to page 133 in your Fusion eBook for transition words to help you organize your writing. Your paragraph should have a statement of a main idea or purpose, followed by specific examples or details that support and develop that point. You should refer to your Fusion textbook Your paragraph should contain 10 or more sentences (not counting your topic sentence) that support your main idea/topic. Your paragraph should be 125 words or more (in the body of your paper—not counting your name, course name, date, or title)
