In this course, our primary goal is to introduce you to a variety of motivational theories. It is equally important to understand how a motivational or learning theory informs practices and how an educator can translate a motivational or learning theory into instructional practice. Therefore, I ask you to reflect on the following question: How would your understanding of the Attribution Theory inform your practices in creating a motivational learning environment? Please use example(s) to illustrate your points. The examples can come from your own professional practice, from your own learning experience, or even a story you heard about. You don’t have to talk about every aspect of the theory. Pick one or two things that impress you most and talk about it.
