1) You will use the parts found in “Assembly and Files” and
2) Follow the instructions in “SW Tutorial 10 – Engine WDP” (ignore #4 because we won’t be using a student copy for the assembly parts)
Purpose: Create a working drawing packet using SolidWorks.
Description: Using the assembly you created in SolidWorks, you will create four detailed drawings. You will learn how to explode and assembly, and how to create a Bill of Materials (with balloons).
Deliverables: SolidWorks docs of the (1) Full Assembly drawing with BOM, (2) Chamber Assembly drawing with BOM, (3) Frame Detailed Drawing, and (4) Cam Bore Detailed Drawing. Ensure that the title blocks are fully filled out for each drawing. Be sure to select Scale to Fit under Page Setup when saving all four drawings.
*Of course, don’t worry about the name, teachers initials and things like that.
