For your portfolio project, you have been asked to prepare a portfolio of materials for your boss relating to a controversial topic in your current field of study, the topic of which you chose in the Topic Discussion. For this assignment, you will prepare an email that will be included in your final portfolio that gives a status update on your research into your project. In your email, briefly explain the overarching debate and the two major arguments of this debate. Then, explain which side you plan to argue and list a minimum of three reasons against the opposing argument. Finally, provide an update as to when the final proposal will be ready. The body of your email should be around 250 words. You will address it to the same boss and company listed in your Letter of Transmittal. Note: Because this is an email and not a formal academic assignment, writing in first person is acceptable.
