Joe is a 22 year old college student who was referred by his primary care doctor. The PCP says he is no longer attending his classes, doesn’t spend time with friends anymore, and has extreme social anxiety.

Case #2: Mary

You are a court appointed psychologist assessing a woman named Mary as part of a custody evaluation. Mary is a 35 year old in the midst of a bitter divorce and custody battle. Her husband says she’s a “crazy drunk” and unfit to be a parent. Mary says that he is lying about her drinking in order to try to win the custody dispute and her drinking is not problematic.
