1. What types of reinforcements and punishments does Michael Patrick MacDonald encounter in his day-to-day life in Southie?

2. Choose two examples from All Souls and discuss how Differential Association Theory can be applied to the examples.

Your essay should be at least 2 pages in length and should also include a brief introduction detailing the key principles Differential Association Theory. You should also define the terms reinforcement and punishment and discuss the difference between positive and negative reinforcement and positive and negative punishment. (20 points)
