Next, there are the many public health practitioners and organizations such as the Association of state and Territorial Health Official, the National Association and County, and City Health Officials, and Big Cities and Health Coalitions to name a few (Hwang, 2021). In addition, every health commissioner, health officer, and political commentator who helps inform and address public health challenges play a key role in the public health system. Moreover, characteristics of effective community leadership for my practicum must include strong communication and listening skills, empathy and understanding, the ability to motivate, inspire and provide innovation to think outside box to provide solutions to old and new developing problems.
