What level of responsibility should be taken by the developed nations that have historically contributed the most to the problem of climate change and are most able to tackle it? And what by emerging economies and less developed nations?

You will have to defend one of the following three perspectives:

Position 1: Only rich and industrialized countries should contribute to the United Nations Trust Fund created in order to preserve oil underground in the Misoupu National Park.

Position 2: All countries rich and poor should contribute to the United Nations Trust Fund.

Position 3: Countries should contribute to the United Nations Trust Fund, but only if by doing so they get rights to increase CO2 emissions in their own countries (this is known as carbon trading).
