Writing a Colloquia Academic Help

I don’t understand this English question and need help to study.

You are required to attend at least one colloquia event of your choice this semester (a campus-wide guest speaker, CASCON, etc. can fulfill this requirement too) and write a one-page response relating the content of the event you attended to our course theme and at least one of the literary works we have read in class. Feel free to include any other thoughtful reflections you have in response to the Colloquium in your response.

Papers should be typed and double-spaced with one-inch margins all around. They should be free of typographical and mechanical errors and you should submit a copy electronically through SafeAssign on Blackboard (here) and turn in a hard copy to me in class.
